A Virtual Conference to celebrate The Year of the Resilient Nurse

University Hospitals’ Inaugural Nursing Research and Innovation Day

We are excited to share that Carevive Systems was invited to present at the University Hospitals (UH) Nursing Research & Innovation Day 2020. The conference was held on Friday, August 28.

This conference, organized by UH Ventures, was founded to showcase and celebrate nurse innovators, researchers, and students, as well as nurse-led and nurse-centered startups, that are making or made an impact in 2020.

The program included a presentation by Madelyn Trupkin Herzfeld, Co-Founder & CEO of Carevive, and also featured 2 keynotes (Rebecca Love, RN, BS, MSN, FIEL, a nurse entrepreneur, inventor, author, TedX Speaker and Michael Ackerman, DNS, RN, APRN-BC, FCCM, FNAP,FAANP, FAAN, currently the Director of the Master in Healthcare Innovation Program and Professor of Clinical Nursing at the Ohio State University College of Nursing), a ‘Nurse Innovators, Researchers, & Students’ (NIRS) showcase and competition, and interactive and actionable How-To’s for Research & Innovation.

Carevive presented a company overview highlighting the important contributions that nurses have made to the creation of the company’s industry-leading technology for cancer patient engagement and Patient Experience Data collection and analysis. Madelyn Trupkin Herzfeld commented, “As an oncology nurse and entrepreneur dedicated to the care of cancer patients, I feel privileged to have presented our company at this important event. To-date, our digital oncology platform, built by nurses for nurses™, has been improving cancer care across our 26 health system customers. We are looking forward to expanding our presence at UH with our Carevive OPT-IN® program, and in support of UH’s current engagement efforts for cancer patients.”
