Suzanne Dixon, a registered dietitian and epidemiologist, is an author, speaker, and internationally recognized expert in oncology nutrition, chronic disease prevention and management, nutritional epidemiology, and health and wellness. Suzanne is best known as the creator of an award-winning nutrition website (sold in 2005), which was acclaimed by the New York Times and Time Magazine. She has received numerous awards from the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics for her work.
Suzanne has taught medical, nursing, public health, and complementary medicine coursework, and is a frequent lecturer at conferences and universities around the United States. She served on the National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN) nutrition committee and on the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) obesity workgroup. Suzanne is Past Chair of the Oncology Nutrition Dietetic Practice Group, and former Director of the Outpatient Oncology Nutrition Program at the University of Michigan Comprehensive Cancer Center. Suzanne received her training in epidemiology and nutrition at the University of Michigan, School of Public Health at Ann Arbor, and currently runs her own consulting business in Portland, Oregon.
