Continuing medical education

Improve provider knowledge.

A unique component included as part of Carevive’s research studies is continuing medical education (CME). Medical education provides the foundation for improving provider knowledge and information regarding the latest evidence-based treatment guidelines in cancer care and symptom management. In addition, Carevive educates providers on the latest clinical evidence for treatment and side effect management, as well as the value of collecting patient-reported outcomes, using frailty assessment tools, and engaging patients in shared decision making.

We also use our learning tools to educate participating providers — oncologists, nurses and research staff — on the components of the study as well as instruct them on how to use our platform and incorporate it into their clinical workflow.

CME is vital to the success of our research by engaging providers on the value of the study to them individually as well as to their patients. This leads to improved quality of care and patient outcomes.
