New name.  Same excellent solution for your practice.

Only the name has changed. Nothing else. Our commitment to deliver high quality e-clinical tools to support the oncology team’s delivery of quality cancer care is still the same.

Introducing Carevive Systems.

Pronounced /kair’vaiv/.

We’ve grown up quite a bit since our incorporation in early 2013. We set out to help cancer clinicians deliver “quality” cancer care, hence the name On Q Health. “Quality” is a buzz word today like “value-based care”. When clinician customers would ask me about the name, we described how we are helping them deliver quality cancer care. We started to feel our response was offensive, because one could make the inference that the caring and very committed cancer clinicians with whom we were speaking were not delivering quality care. We started to ask ourselves, who is the judge? And if they weren’t delivering quality, it certainly was not a conscious choice…system barriers abound.

Recently, we came across an article titled Digital Therapeutics. we fundamentally believe that there is not much therapeutic, or healing, about technology. Doctors, nurses, and the multi-disciplinary care team heal. We are here to help identify and overcome the system barriers and provide clinical tools to the care team to support their efforts to cure, care, and heal patients.

So we are going back to the basics. And our ideas transcend the current buzz. The mission of our company is to support the life, well-being, and survivorship of cancer patients. We believe there is nothing more sacred than the relationship between oncology professionals and the cancer patients who have entrusted their lives with them. Our goal is to develop tools that support and strengthen that bond, and to enable the oncology team to give their patients the type of care they would give their own loved ones and the information patients need to make the right choices, promote good self care, life, and longevity.

And with a new name comes our fresh new logo!

Our Solutions at a Glance

Electronic Patient-Reported Outcomes (e-PRO)

Modern-day oncologists need tools to quickly identify patient problems and concerns to offer a meaningful encounter in a busy clinic. Carevive’s validated, cancer-specific, electronic patient-reported outcome (ePRO) questionnaires are summarized in concise reports, alerting clinicians to critical symptom/functional scores and trends.

Clinical Trial Accrual

The Carevive rules engine uses patient biomarker reports and patient responses to validated e-PRO tools, including a modified Comprehensive Geriatric Assessment (mCGA) and shared decision-making aids, to link patients to open clinical trials within an oncology network. With these data, Carevive generates personalized care plans to be finalized by the care team and given to patients educating them about clinical trial opportunities, as well as conventional treatment options.

Initial Treatment Plans

Carevive provides technical infrastructure and evidence-based content to help cancer centers meet OCM requirements including delivery to each of their patients an initial care plan that incorporates the 13 elements outlined in the Institute of Medicine (IOM)’s Care Management Plan of the IOM plan [Link to wireframe].

Distress/Symptom Management Plans

Our validated distress and symptom screening e-questionnaires, are used to generate automated, evidence-based, personalized distress and symptom management care plans. This tool improves both clinical workflow and patient outcomes.

Survivorship Care Plans

Using our proprietary rules engine, surveillance and late effects content within your survivorship care plans will be personalized, evidence-based, and up-to-date. Registry data can be used to automate the Treatment Summary. Patient and PCP versions of care plans can be generated.
