Carolyn-Grande-boostCarolyn Grande, CRNP, AOCNP, has been an advanced practice nurse since 1998, when she received her MSN in Oncology Nursing from the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing.  She began her advanced practice career as a nurse practitioner in GI Oncology. She has also worked in the educational sector as an oncology nurse educator for Oncology Education Services, and as Director of Clinical Promotion and Education at Ogilvy, CommonHealth Specialty Markets.  Carolyn currently works at the Abramson Cancer Center at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, where she maintains a collaborative practice in The Center for Rare Cancers and Personalized Therapy.

Carolyn is actively involved with the Advanced Practitioner Society for Hematology and Oncology. She holds membership in the Oncology Nursing Society at both the local and national level, and has held leadership positions locally. She is also a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology.  She has published numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals, and has lectured on various topics regarding cancer and cancer care. Carolyn is actively involved in research and has served as a sub-investigator on numerous clinical trials. She has also continued her relationship with Penn’s School of Nursing since graduation, providing guest lectures in the graduate level oncology courses.
