Carevive - 2017 Cerner Emerging Partner of the Year Award Winner

During the annual Cerner Health Conference (CHC17), thousands of Cerner® clients, partners, and associates gathered for three days of education sessions, inspirational keynotes, informative lectures and networking events.  Coinciding is Cerner’s partner appreciation reception where Carevive received the 2017 Emerging Partner Award.

“We are very excited with Carevive, an oncology partner that, among its oncology solution, has a specific tool for survivorship,” stated Hillary Biskner, Vice President, Clinical Strategic Business Units. “Many of us have been touched by cancer and its very important for us to be working together with them. We met at CHC twelve months ago and then again at HIMSS and decided we needed to move fast.  It was an obvious and natural solution partnering with them and we are very excited for the future.”

“We are very honored and proud to receive this award.”, said Ricardo Mazzi, Carevive’s Chief Marketing Officer. “The fact that Cerner selected us as their oncology partner demonstrates an alignment and a shared vision for patient-centered care and providing a comprehensive oncology care planning solution.”

This past June, Cerner announced its plans to integrate Carevive’s patient care planning software in its PowerChart Oncology™ solution. Through this collaboration with Cerner, we will embed validated patient-reported outcome (PRO) tools that are mapped to clinical data from PowerChart Oncology™ and evidenced-based content, which generates clinical decision support for the care team and personalized care plans for patients and their families. Carevive’s personalized and iterative comprehensive patient care plans facilitate shared treatment decision-making, and provides ongoing direction to clinicians and patients regarding symptom surveillance and management while on active treatment and throughout survivorship.
